Try out our new energy saving suggestions
Matthew Cooke
Launched: Energy saving suggestions
I have put together these energy-saving suggestions to help people reduce both their energy bills and household carbon emissions. Energy-saving was the top voted area to focus on earlier this year. With energy bills up another 54% in April, I expect the topic is still on many people’s minds.
The best suggestions depend on whether you rent or own your home and a few other factors, so I have added some filters to the top of the suggestions page.
I would love some feedback on these suggestions
- Are any of these suggestions useful to you?
- Do you have any other ideas I can add?
You can reply to this email or leave a comment on the Facebook group post.
Are you looking to move home? Don’t forget to check the EPC ratings!
It is now more important than ever to consider a property’s energy rating before renting or buying a new home. Higher A-C rated properties will be significantly more eco-friendly and cheaper to heat.
For more info on Energy Performance Certificates and insulation, see EPC ratings.
Are you looking to switch energy suppliers?
Stop! Unfortunately, electricity and gas prices are high due to the energy crisis. The energy price cap provides some protection for existing customers. In most cases, you will lose this protection if you switch tariffs or suppliers, resulting in an even higher rate.
